Tree Top Hospital successfully completed a health screening event in collaboration with the Ministry of Education for Huravee School students.

The health screening event took place from January 10th to January 16th, 2023, and accommodated 445 students from Grades 1, 4, and 7.

Prior to the health screening, an information session for the teachers and parents was conducted at Huravee School Hall by Dr Rukhsana Ahmed, Consultant Paediatrician.

Dr Rukhsana highlighted the topic of nutritional requirements for children and mental health awareness. The purpose of the topic in focus was to raise awareness in the areas that are a rising concern in the Maldives.

The aim of this health screening event was to provide the opportunity for students to receive basic health screening assessments which will assist to identify any cases that require referral to a specialist for further treatment.

Tree Top Hospital will continue to build on the opportunity to emphasize the importance of regular health care and examination, disseminating health information to build a healthier community.
