Tree Top Hospital’s Maternity Unit is proud to welcome our 100th baby on 31st March 2019. The delivery was led by our experienced recently joined Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant, Dr. Varsha Rengaraj and assisted by skilled clinical team of neonatologist, midwife, anesthetists and trained nurses. The mother and newborn are in excellent health. Tree Top Hospitals Maternity Unit is specialized to cater to the need and well-being of the mother and baby, this includes the availability of painless birth options. It is noteworthy that Tree Top Hospitals’ Maternity Ward provides “Birth Preparation Programs” to advice and prepare expectant parents on their pregnancy journey. Speaking about their experience, the first time mother remarked, “it was a last minute call to come to Tree Top Hospital due to an unexpected complication indicated by our regular consultant who wasn’t from Tree Top Hospital.

Tree Top Hospitals’ Maternity Unit is equipped with 4 spacious labour rooms with access to ensuite bathroom facilities and an observation room for closer monitoring during labour. The maternal care unit also extend to neonatal care which includes a state of the art NICU facility manned with 2 experienced neonatologists and competent nurses. The maternity facility is fashioned to cater both normal deliveries and caesarian procedure.
