Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Are a type of scan that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce highly detailed images of inside the body. Upon completing the scan, doctors are able to examine delicate internal organs, brain, bones and joints and provide a diagnosis on them. Furthermore, MRI scans are also used to plan treatments and assess the effectiveness of previous treatments.
